but how do i send?

call up someone else in VIT and ask them to buy it on your behalf...
or you can contact some bakery which do the delivery... but i do not know how you pay them.. i mean i do not know if they accept online payment ... just try getting in contact with some big bakeries bro !! they might have online service

Well, Google search some Bakeries in Chennai, Ask them if they Home Deliver and pay them through DD/Cheque and give the VIT address.

Chennai and Vellore is not that near for any Bakeries/Florists in Chennai to do that service.

so if cakes are not possible & can i send chocolates i think they could be send over long distances safely
If chennai and vellore are far away, can i send them through vellore only via some local supplier?
can anyone give name & address & contact number of them?

It is in cochin. afaik they are trustworthy,as i do visit these stores of pai&co in Kochi(n).they are a big bookseller chain in kerala.they got courier service also afaik.call to confirm.
