Vacation - Ootty or Kodai ?

I know this may sound very strange lol

But nothing wrong in asking I think - general section

OK, planning a 3 day trip. Went to Kodai once, loved it.

Which is better, Ootty or Kodai ?

Also, is there anything in particular while goin, like places we should visit which are not very popular but really nice, or places where we should not go, climate now, best route (I am form Cochin, Kerala), hotels to stay n eat (I am pure veg lol)

I googled, checked maps etc but would love to get some feedback from people visited these places.

Was planning Coorg also, but I think its too far ...

Any info regarding this will be greatly appreaciated.

I've been to Ooty but not Kodai.

I liked Ooty as you can visit the nearby places like Cunoor, Mettupalayam and Kovai. Also the places of interest is more in Ooty than Kodai (from my knowledge).

Since you've already visited Kodai, look no further and goto Ooty.

I have visited both

if u loves nature a lotta and that silence and feel being with nature goto kodai
But as u already did na u can goto ooty also

Just there hire bikes they costs 350 bucks per day and have fun
Places u can go are

Goto Dolfin's Nose

Paykra Dam and Waterfall....must go place I just loves the place and path

also there are a lot of places and I thinks on bikes u loves the way too

Yes, I prefer Ooty as I visited Kodai once, but the roads r all broken I heard I mean from Cochin - Ooty, especially the Palakkad section ..
