MTNL's(Delhi) new 2mbps unlimited plan?

I don't believe MTNL they make fool out of us till now I haven't got my 'promised' 2mbps spped in 749 night unlimited plan.Also they also clained the launch of IPTV with a full page ad in Times Of India.

But I sincerely hope they actually provide 2mbps so that we can play games like NFSrostreet,FEAR,etc online.

BTW have you ever wondered they always claim upto 2mbps and not like 2mbps or even 1.5mbps.I guess to avoid cases against them.Scr*w them.

The difference will be just like 590 NU and 749NU.590NU is discontinued and 949UL may be discontinued from the next month.

Whats your location? I am in West Delhi and as far as i know many guys from here arent getting 2mbps.

Does not make any sense whatsoever. How can they give an unlimited plan to people who pay Rs. 949 per month and limit it to four gigabytes to customers paying Rs. 2,399 per month?

@aryayush Arre bose they are downright stupids.Don't worry about them.the plan you mentioned was meant for companies who had to distribute their connection when they were only giving 256kbps speeds to average user.Now they give 2mbps unlimited@949 but they forgot to change\delete\modify their older plans.Like I said They are a bunch of stupids.

@gaurav_indian I am from north delhi and same here no one is getting 2mbps.And some of my friends in south delhi are getting 2mbps in their 256kbps full unlimited plans.

I am currently on home 500 Plan from BSNL(Bangalore), now just about 3 weeks back i called the customer care ppl they told there are two 900 plans one is home 900 and home 900+.
the only difference between them is that in 900+ the telephone rental is free, so you will be charged only for the calls you make, when i asked them about the speed they told me that they offer only 256Kpbs and not 2Mb.

Now this 949 plan is that for BSNL too? and what are the speeds? what about the telephone rentals?

The existing 256kbps unlimited plan will be upgraded to 2mbps...MTNL never keeps their sites properly...sab hoch poch
And there are two rs749 plans...they shud scrap the 1.25GB without NU one...
They are in the process of upgrading all the plans to 2mbps...thats is why even I am facing frequent disconnections these days...have patience...it might take a month but after that everything will get sorted out..
I knew MTNL wud nt be able to provide 2mbps on 749NU plan immediately so I delayed my decision to change my plan...I will take it next month..
2mbps unlimited for 949...this will trigger a price war again...if they introduce 256kbps unlimited for rs.500/month it will be very attractive...looks like time has finally come after 2 years we have all been waiting for
