Type: Worm
Systems Affected: Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP

W32.Imav.A is a worm that spreads by sending ICQ messages that contain links to copies of the worm. The worm also disables security-related products. The worm may arrive as a .zip file downloaded from the Internet.

Note: Definitions prior to January 27th may detect this threat as W32.Lodav.A.

lol.. know i know why imav likes windows so much and hates macs!! also imav is not wild, can be contained easily, causes medium damage and can be removed easily! wow.. we gotta kno so much about you, manan hehe...
