afaik bcoz of the news leaked via media,the kidnappers are forced to kill the poor guy.the gang fears the police too may be.

In real way Adnan was killed by the kidnappers,because they they didnt get the money & they was very feared,
In other words in killing of adnan,media was little responsible for that,because the kidnappers was exposed by media all over the India therefore they was very feared & they killed the adnan.
