Question about IIT


i m in diploma second year in IT and i get nearly 70% score. I know IIT powai (that is far from my home) and iwant to know where is IIT MUMBAI ?.
My question is that how much % should we get to have admission in IIT? and other degree colleges in mumbai for degree in IT.

IIT powai is only IIT mumbai.. and for a be degree from a good college u shd have an average of atleast 80%..
dunno abt the IIT criteria..

You can get admitted in IIT through Joint Entrance Exam (JEE). To learn more about IIT, Bombay go to http://www.iitb.ac.in/ . To learn more about IITs in general go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_..._of_Technology .

You didn't mention if you want to go for a Post Graduation or you want to repeat your graduation in a more reputed college.

Admission in most reputed Government colleges in Maharashtra takes place through CEE.

that will be very tough instead you can get a masters degree from IIT which is quite easy to their other degree courses
