Soft Rock kinda music !!! need recommendations

Hi

Can u guys recommend some slow rock bands and corresponding song/songs ..

i tend to like bands like Coldplay and a select base of Greenday and REM.. i want to know some other bands like that..
i am not really into metal and fast rock but do like songs like "on bended knee "-limpbizkit,"nothing else matters" from Metallica and sweet child of mine from GNR.love listening to these in my new Car!!

Travis is good soft rock. Indie rock style.

you can't put travis and keane into rock or even pop rock genre they're just a band(but not gay band like BB,blue)

Travis can be best described as British Trad Rock. Some other suggested styles by allmusic.com are Britpop, Alternative Pop/Rock and post Grunge. but when you generalize it definitely IS rock and is strongly recommended for someone who appreciates music by Coldplay. Every band as a genre and Travis is far from the talentless Blue or Backstreet boys.

Ha ha whoever said no doubt isn't a rock band lol hello wake up they were termed a punk rock band ha ha V. Carlton does sure qualify as pop rock and he was asking for soft rock and there's not much different to set between pop rock and soft rock.

i know there are many one hit wonder bands but i like them too as long as they make good songs not essentially good albums or just bask in their previous album success or huge pop channel promotions.rock music doesn't belong there,it's not about good videos it's about the adrenaline you get from it
