2 tell d mem abt reported post?

is it necessary 2 tell a user dat his/her post is being reported

it is esp significant 4 section dat involve post counts

wish 2 keep my post count without any non-relevent posts

so i reported a post just now w/o tellin d mem at it

wen d mem Cs it in diff topic will understand immediately, wont he/she?

Well though this is a question which Forum admin should answer, but still i am commenting

If you feel any post which is not validating forum rules, use the report button, user wont know who reported it... its the jod of mods now to view the thread to take action...

YEs, I know over the time Digit mods are taking time for their action, but we have to understand that they are too just members like u and me, not paid employee !!!

Sometimes its good to post the u hv reported the post so that no other member reports the same again.
Actually for each report a separate thread is created in Mod forum containing the link to reported thread, so if many members report the same thread, then there will be lots of threads in Mods forum for the same reported thread and it'll make mods job more tough.

So its wise to post that the thread has been reported...

If a member has really made a mistake ( may not be deliberate ) we can inform him/her about the same so that the member can alter his post.
