Default Anyone here has GPRS/WAP enabled phone?

If your GPRS/WAP is enabled on your mobile phone, please check this site wap.microrao.com and let me know if you can see it, if not please let me what error message you get.

I am developing a wap section for my website and running into problems. I have already posted the problem here http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/showthread.php?t=62460 but have not received any replies.

Please let me know if you can see this or help me solve the problem.

well you check yourself. and you dont need a gprs phone to access wap sites. you can access wap sites from opera. download and latest version of opera. 9.20

and i've checked your site from my gprs enabled cellphone everything works fine. and you are handsome too. but the micro biology section is having quite problems. fix it!

Thanks for the compliment, I checked the wap site from www.wapsilon.com and I know it works, but it does not appear on my handset. While the general website www.microrao.com appears well the wap.microrao.com does not appear. The main website is coded in html while the wap in wml. I called the Hutch customer care and they informed me that Hutch do not support wml pages, they support only html pages, that is why perhaps I was not able to view them. Who is your mobile's service provider (BSNL, Airtel, etc)?

This is for the other issue that few links don't work, that is because those links point to text in html, which the wml emulator does not understand that is why the error is seen.

Ok, so I finally confirm that there is nothing wrong with the script or MIME settings, it is simply the Hutch gateway that is denying WML content.

I would like other Hutch GPRS users to confirm this. thanks guys

I visited Hutch website (http://www.hutch.in/planethutch/plan..._siteslist.asp)where they have given few links to wap enabled sites, I tested many of them at www.wapsilon.com as well as on http://emulator.tagtag.com/wapemulator.cgi and found that all of them were html and not wml, hence it is likely that Hutch's gateway is configured to see only html pages and not wml pages.

I checked out a website in WML format, ie. http://m.24.com. and http://wap.ananova.com. These are showing pretty well on my mobile despite being a wml document. I am fully confused, the customer support at Hutch told me that they don't permit wml files, then how come I am able to view it? Now I believe that perphaps the server where I have my files is not serving out wml files.

Does anyone has any idea?
