daily 6 GB download and 10 Gb upload on rapidshare and megaupload..

I can only download only 400MB a day that too when electricity comes for 16 hours non stop in the daytime

Hm.. possible with a pristine 2mbps connection, i.e 256kB*60seconds*60minutes*24hours ~ 24GB a day

My June statistics:

Upload: 5.5 GB
Download: 13.5 GB
Plan: BSNL Home 500
Happy hours usage: 16.4 GB
Non-free usage: 2.6GB

^^ 1 GB is fine, but 6GBs is something. Even you are stuck @ 1GB.
Which plan do you guys use?? 2Mbps ul?

i use BSNL for download somwere aroung 800 MB in an hour and for upload i use reliance webworld so that i can upload more than 10 GB also.But at an avaerage i upload it..in reliance webworld u can upload 1 GB in 45 minz..

It varies.... anywhere between 40kBps and 160kBps. Generally during the free hours, speed falls to the lower limit of the range.

i leech around 4.20 gb daily.. from rapidshare......... on ma bsnl plan 500

220 kBps.. from 2 - 8am.....

When I was using Xo I used to download min.. 2Gb .. a day While on Ubuntu I did not only updates and few themes

I have a BSNL 900UL plan (256 kbps).

I download about 2 GB a Day and Upload 300-400 MBs.
(All thanks to torrents. )

And i use pc for 3 hrs a day n i Download around 200 MBs n Upload i don't count maybe 50 MBs

That is kbps not KBps. 1B(Byte)=8b(bits).
So the max average speed possible on a 256 kbps (BSNL) connection is 32 KBps not 256 KBps

So redoing your calculations:

32 KB * 60 * 60 * 24 = 2764800 KB = 2700 MB ~ 2.63 GB and not 24 GB!!

Anyway by stats are: [ in 6 hrs (home 500 plan) ]
download (average) - 3.2 GB , maximum - 4.1 GB
upload (average) - 1.5 GB , maximum - 2.3 GB
