Re: Engineering IT or BScIT
well engg. is tough for sure but its not invincible and who said BSC IT is childs play ???? Engg is bit more tough than BSc IT but it is worth it. Go For Engg..
PS:I am a B.Tech IT Engg. Final Sem student.

Re: Engineering IT or BScIT
This year Infosys took from our city:
BSc IT - Starting Package 1.0 lakh p.a
Engg. IT Starting package 2.8 lakh p.a
hope you understood everything
And regarding the toughness of the course, In BSc. IT, the course is relatively easier, but once you get placed you will be made to work twice hard.
But in Engg. IT, the course is tougher than BSc IT, but the job will be comparativley easier(lesser load). Simple Equation
Better join for Engg.

Ur friend could not be more dumb than me in maths. I scored 35 in maths in 10th and 39 in 12th , I still managed to do a decent job in engg. because of my interest in computers.

Re: Engineering IT or BScIT
^^yeah , Thats why I m "the No.1 Stupid".
hehe.
And Maths was not the only subject in which I was weak , History is another example. Thank God I was good in Civics , Geography, Economics else I would have been doomed . Believe it or not I never attempted a single question in History section of Social Studies in 10th exam and also in class tests , my highest score in history was ZERO.
LOL.
