Default Copper Sulphate reaction

I had prepared a soution of Copper Sulphate and dipped an iron nail into into it. I left it overnight and in the morning I saw tiny bits of copper coating the iron nail. This is a slow reaction. But how can I make this reaction faster?
I know I can use a battery to do this but how can I do so?
