never ever subscribe to digit

i m aditya
digit reader since 2003 & subscriber since 2006
but in a few months the subscription has gone to hell
delevery is always made in 3rd week
& instead of may 07 april 07 has been dispatched to me
i have tried a lot to make them know
sent more than 10 mails regarding their information
i know that i should send the issue to them by courier but i wont do that without a confirmation mail them
when they confirm me by mail i wd send the wron issue
therefore i m posting my broken feelings here
help really needed

Than forget about digit

mmm this was the first time got digit so late that is 15th of may. I get generally on 7th or 10th of every month

Yes. Subscribers have a tough time getting the magazine. The magazine reaches around 14th of each month, which is very frustrating considering it is available in stands before the month begins!

I dint bother to subscribe after my subscription ended in March 2005 because I was getting my issue late and subscribers do not get the DVD case and Inlay Card....its in a small paper cover

i live in delhi, but i gave a lot of landmarks when i subscribed, i live right on the main road and there r quite a few major landmarks, so maybe its easy to find.

I first used to like Digit a lot and had almost decided to go for a Mega 3 year subscription. But the recent Digit issues are boring with nothing interesting worth reading. Plus Fast Track is also not worth reading because of boring topics. Thank god i didn't subscribe.

dvd case not in subscriber issue bcoz we get discounts on our copies

so.........

discount = no dvd cases

means no discount

that's why I renewed my subscription only for year .

gave one more chance to digit .

In the school library, magazine always used to come between 1-15 of each month. Now it comes between 15-25! Huh.

Why no DVD cases? Why did I get my march issue in 2nd week of April and that too two of them? I would be happy with a single copy sent on time.

Why do you want a bulky DVD case? l like the paper ones- they take a lot less space to store. Plus digit has responded to these complaints; i think they have changed courier companies, infact i remember reading in a digit mag that the reason y street vendors get it quickly is that digit gives its subscription copies to the courier companies which take thier own sweet time delivering it to the houses whereas vendors will get it directly from thier distributor

so u people get frustated on getting the mag in third week
but think of the person who gets the mag when the next mag is out & every one finished it
& that too by simple book post but the charges were taken to send the digit through courier
that is me
i too m waiting the end of my subscription n i wont ever subscribe to digit ever again
