Question So, how much bandwidth did you consume last month?

Hello!
I have got the BSNL DataOne Broadband 900UL (256Kbps) plan and these were my statistics for the month of November, 2006:
Quote:
Total Send Volume(GB): 10.454
Total Recieve Volume(GB): 32.956
Total Volume(GB): 43.41
Total Duration(hour): 601.5
Here's a screenshot:

And to think that I had once considered taking the plan that had a bandwidth limit of 400MB (0.40GB). LOL!

So, what was your bandwidth consumption the last month?

with my airtel gprs

30 mb/hour * 10 hrs = 300 mb per day

300 mb * 30 days = 3000mb

rough approximation

Just start the download, hide the window and let it do its thing. Just forget about it.
Most likely, by the time you remember it, it will have finished downloading. Since my laptop is switched on 24/7, I do the bulk of my downloading (and uploading) when I'm asleep and I generally get very good speeds at that time.

Don't even bother. He posted a screenshot once and if my memory serves me well, the downloads were flying it at a speed of more than 1 Mbps.

Edit: Looks I got beat to it. Anyway, there you have it.
__________
Oops, looks like I made a big mistake. As far as I can see, it seems to be more than 2 MBps.

Now I'm surprised that you only managed 500GB!

@aryayush: I can only manage about 500 GB cuz i only have a 1GB pen drive

The transfer from PC to pen drive takes more time than to download it from the net (if you can call it "net", should be called LAN lol).

Well, we cannot download the whole day either because it kills the regular browsing speed.

Anyway, I really wanted to know how much you guys download now that the speeds have been bumped up to 2 Mbps. Any notable increases?

My January month usage 2-8 night free 94GB approx , and i didnt even download everynight , coz this is more than enuf data i need in a month. As january was the first month when the 2Mbps started i download all the things i wanted at that time. Feb and march usage are avg 50GB as i atmost download 2-3 hrs that too not daily.

You don't need to know that if you don't already.

tarey_g, has it never happened that your night usage got billed for some reason or the other?
