Look what I just found:


I logged into this account after a long long time and discovered that it now allowed POP access. I configured it in Thunderbird and while the mails were being downloaded I discovered that this was the first email in my account. I don't know if I have deleted the emails before this, but if I haven't, this is the first email I ever received. Because this is my first email ID

I still don't know my password. Always trial and error

If I myself don't know the password how can someone else steal it from me

Well, reading how nostalgic OP must be feeling at the moment when he discovered his first mail from TDF, I too tried to search the first mail which I got from TDF.

Result: N/A

It's weird that I am unable to find that first mail from TDF! Since I never delete any mails from my gmail account!

Sorry to disappoint you guys...
At least I know that I can write interesting titles.. even if not good content.

But I really wanted to share when I saw this email, it's the first email in my inbox and almost 6 years old.

I have an interesting idea to make this thread more fun.
Open Gmail (I suppose all of us have an account there). Go to All Mail and then hover over the number of emails, click on oldest. You will see a welcome email there (if you haven't already deleted it). Write the date on which you registered your account along with a screenshot (if possible).

I found the reason for why I couldn't find the first mail from TDF!
It was because I had changed my ID from yahoo to gmail!

So, here's "The day I registered on this forum"...



As for the first mail from Gmail is concerned:



As a bonus, here's when I joined yahoo, my first mail client probably...

Most of us created our first email ID in Yahoo, but are now using gmail mostly

I had registered in this forum using my college ID : j*******@gardencitycollege.edu but unfortunately this ID is not working anymore.
