Default ThinkDigit Forum blockec my college IP Address

After mailing the administrators several times and zero response from them, i thought i'll post it here and see who else is being blocked!

The entire IIT Delhi's network is blocked. I can't access this forum from there!

I dont think any ip is blocked even if spamming was done from that IP.
Even chinese ip's are unblocked

OR some students were throwing in ads/spams using the college network. so ico blacklisted the whole network.

its weird because its only the forum that has been blocked. i can still access the website and every other pages.

I doubt its the work of the iit administration but some setting to do with this forum software. I have NOT come across any other forum/website being blocked except this forum..

The Error goes something like "The Administrator of this forum has blocked your IP blah blah blah...." and i cant access the forums.

My laptop IP address has 10.156.x.x while the overall is detected as 120.56.173.xxx

120.56.x.x is NOT banned. It is the IP you are posting from. Tell me the IP range of IIT Delhi's network.

Only 120.33.x.x, 120.35.x.x, 120.36.x.x, 120.37.x.x, 120.28.x.x and 120.89.x.x are banned.

that is very stupid of me!!!

my hostel IP address in the campus was 10.156.x.x and overall it uses 180.149.52.xx

180.149.30.x to 180.149.69.x seems to be from India. These are unbanned now.

The 180.149.x.x range was banned because we were receiving Bangladeshi/Mongolian spam.
