Re: The Digit OS
@Tejas.Gupta I was also thinking of making this thread, but found you have created.
Currently reading FT, not installed Digit OS yet. But I'm sure they must have made some nice enhancements over UBUNTU !

Digit OS is the customized version of UBUNTU 11.04! It is provided in the Digit DVD with this month's issue! Haven't you seen it? A separate Fast Track to Ubuntu is also given there. You will find more information about Digit OS in that Fast Track (FT).

Re: The Digit OS
Nothing new, Fedora was once customised by PC Quest and was including with their mag for readers........ that was long time back.
So, technically, DIGIT is late in giving any such thing!!

I didn't buy a single issue of Think digit Magazine yet
I once subscribed to PC Quest magazine for a year and thats it...Never cared to buy another computer magazine after that.

Re: The Digit OS
"Ubuntu being stuck on Loading Screen" happens with me too, although I havn't tried digit OS yet.
Whenever I tried to run Ubuntu 11.04 in Live CD mode, it just gets stuck for unreasonable amount of time, and I just had to force the system off.
Guess it's some, compatibility problem.
@Aspire: What config is yours? Cause mine was, Pen 4, 2.4 GHz, 1 GB DDR Ram.

Re: The Digit OS
MIght be because of insufficient memory
Live mode requires huge amount of memory to run smoothly

The problem was there with Google Chrome browser.
I had to update Ubuntu and switched to FireFox 5 and now its all ok.
Although I HATE FireFox because of its image loading style.... (snail! )
Oh! Yes, if some can help me with this: I would like to configure HOTMAIL, can someone tell me how to do it in the defaulf mail client - Evolution.
Or some tips & tricks to get it done.
