Lightbulb The Look and Feel of thinkdigit Forums

Ok, guys. Lets be honest about this.

I am a new user on ThinkDigit Forums and I must say, this forums DOES look a bit old school... Like something that looks like it remains unchanged from the 90's.

Newer versions of vBulletin have been launched and even many other competitors like myBB and phpBB have come up with great products. But why does not thinkdigit change its forum look?

What is your opinion? Should the look change for the better?

It does need a layout upgrade.Perhaps two versions could be worked upon, one for those with slow connections and the general one with all the eye candy?

well, vBulletin 4.1 isn't stable yet. I'd wait for vB 4.2.

But yes, new theme is needed. We are discussing about making a few changes in the Mod lounge.

I'll be frank about phpBB. It sucks. Installing modifications is a PITA. MyBB is good, but then lacks good modifications.

SMF and IP.Board are better, but switching to them would hit us on the Google.

IP.B is improving at a very fast rate btw.
