Why ‘Singularized’ Browsing?
The World Wide Web is often a real concern for people, as almost everyone among educated people spends at least a few minutes a day on the Internet. Browser safety is of top priority now-a-days. Browsers are the most common gateway to the Internet. Now the users have several choices from Internet Explorer to Rockmelt, the latest avatar. The Browser war between Internet Explorer of Microsoft (43.8%), Mozilla Firefox (29.7%) and Google Chrome(13%) is still going on.
Every popular browser has informative and fun widgets, thousands of add-ons to customize and enhance the user’s web browsing experience with categories include blogging, tools, entertainment, humor, news, privacy and security, and more. The user can add style to browser with skins and themes so that the user can expect a richer media experience with fewer format problems and plug-ins getting in the way. It is a great opportunity for someone who likes to customize and construct their ultimate browsing application. But the saddest thing is that this personalized custom browser is accessible only in his/her personal computer!
Shall we call this sort of customized browser, ultimate personal, with a new term: ‘Singularized browser’? (A non-Computer-expert can use the standard browser window as his/her Singularized browser). In almost every developing nation, Internet is accessed from same Computer by number of different users. But, everyone prefers something that is strictly personal, i.e. Singularized! That’s why, I would like to ask a simple question: ‘Do we have a Web Browser which can be ‘Singularized’ so that it could be accessed from any Computer with an internet connection? ‘No’. Then the finest browsing experience will be with a browser having an option for ‘Safe and Secured Singularized Browsing’ other than common browsing!
Actually the Internet browsing history is the real asset of the Internet user as every net user has his/her preferences of websites on daily use, i.e. a list where you can save your favorite and frequently viewed websites - often referred to as bookmarks or favorites. And almost always a user will be in need of the previous browsing history which he might delete from Computer’s other than his personal Computer due to security reasons. Can this be avoided to save ‘time’: the most precious thing?
Option for ‘Singularized’ Browsing, how?
The concept is very simple. ‘Singularize’ is a new option that can be added to any browser for ordinary web browsing. If you want to access your singularized browser from any computer with an internet connection where your browser is installed (like you have singularized Google Chrome and Chrome is installed in the Computer in which you want to access,. The User-ID is any e-mail-ID which is secured with a password. (The password need not be the actual password!). For faster growth of the market share of a Web browser, the Browser Owner should not worry about which e-mail provider the customer is using with! The reason is very simple: Singularized browsers will not create any form of litigation as it cannot be misused!
In Singularized Browsing, the servers of the Browser owner remember the data of your last browsing session and your customized browser’s final appearance so that it could be accessed from any Computer you have access across the world, through a user ID and password! Of course you can edit the list of websites at the end of every browsing cession before logging out. It is that you decide what the servers should remember! This helps to prevent anyone else who might be using your computer from seeing where you visited and what you looked at on the web. Cookies are deleted after he/she close the Singularized browser window. The Browser Owner’s servers can easily manage the Singularized browser data as data size of Singularized browser is so small: links of widgets, add-ons and links of web browsing history! One option may be provided for the administrator so that he/she can limit the access to Singularized browsing. This has to be specially considered in case of parental control. It is that you decide what your browser must remember! It is of note that this offers virtually no privacy protection beyond the local level! (It is possible to identify frequented websites by associating the IP address with the user on the server end!)
The basic criteria for selection of a specific Web browser is depending on the following factors like features set, ease of use, security, options for frequently visited we pages list, save tabs, help and support and beyond all speed: time is the most precious factor! Now, just imagine the role of Singularized browsing option in satisfying the above factors. Such a concept can be easily realized by major players like Google and Microsoft because they have millions of servers across the world which can remember the details of every singularized browser and the history form last browsing cession, and they own e-mail service!
