Audio lagging Video!!

I have a movie. The problem is the audio comes first and then the corresponding action. Please tell me to correct it permanently.

It is a problem in codec. You can fix this with VLC player.. but no permanently. Go to, Tools-> effects and filters-> Synchronization. And enter the lag you are facing in terms of seconds.

Dunno what to do to fix it permanently.

I do it in Media Player Classic(K-lite Mega Codec). But any solution to fix it permanently?
