How to correct the pings.

Friends having some problem with my pings. I am gaining very high pings on urban terror servers. I had made a complain on bsnl also but not yet found anything.
Hope you guys will help me again.

1. Today I did a ping test on google.co.in and got the following reply.

Used the following command on cmd
ping -t google.co.in

Reply from 209.85.231.104: bytes=32 time=515ms TTL=48

What is the ping time in this. Is it 515ms.

I tried this command on cmd "ping 119.247.61.150:27962"

Ping request could not find the host 119.247.61.150:27962. Please check the name and try again.

During game play I get pings around 340 and other Indian players get around 140.


This will make me explain better to bsnl guys. And if i could resolve it myself.

well, BSNL giving crap pings to me too. When I go to Haryana, my ping starts from 350 to everywhere outside India.

I'll suggest writing a formal report to your BSNL District Officer telling him to request changes in routing.

Just say, Hong Kong should be less than 150ms, Singapore should be 100ms and most of the Europe should be 200ms.
