people these days download a lot. Unlimited connections with speeds upto 1 mbps are becoming available. So Let's see who downloads how much.

Post your last months total downloads (not including uploads) here. Also mention the internet connection & cost of the plan you are using.

Here goes mine:

July '10: 34.6GB
Connection: BSNL BBG FN combo 500
Cost: Rs. 546/month (including service tax & ECS discount)

I think this can be credible only with a bandwidth meter screenshot for the month (eg. shaplus bandwidth meter)

This month my usage is 40.9 GB using BSNL 750UL (512kbps unlimited)



I wish u had start this 3 months before...I used to download 120GB using BSNL 600 home 2mbps (2-8am free)

Yes, people may post a screenshot if they want, asking for it would make people turn away coz they wont want to put the effort. And there's no incentive to post wrong usage, so people will mostly post correct usage only.

Well in last one and half week I've downloaded: 38GB+5.5GB+7.5GB=50GB

Month....I've to check.

Plan: Airtel 1Mbps unlimited (100GB cap)
Price: 1874/- including taxes

My last months usage was 161GB 83GB download and 78GB upload

SPEED : 156 KBps [I don't know which type 'o plan coz my dad is not telling me anything]

I download less because of low speed.But then also my Internet usage is nearby 20-25 GB.
Bill : Rs 800 approx..../...I'll upgrade to a BSNL connection after 1 month....

Keep getting Fair Usage Policy calls from customer care, request and later warning to upgrade the bandwidth.
Have been neglecting them since inception. !!!!
Screw FUP i say !

If people dont understand the meaning of word UNLIMITED and try finding loopholes even there just to make few more bucks, i can't really help it.

Unlimited should always be unlimited as in dictionary.

stucked on limited 5GB plan per month paying Rs. 1400 for 5GB bandwidth.
lol each month i ran out of bandwidth its 25th today and recharged my bandwidth today.
6 days earlier. dont have any other plans to upgrade direct 20GB plan for Rs. 8000.
lol for unlimited its 20k per month.

And just got a mail from Airtel today that my plan has been upgraded to 2Mbps without any extra charge . But its not gonna help me, finding real hard time to download (what else to download ), so I end up seeding.

Ummmm.........I don't know. Already on 89GB d/l, very soon going to touch 100 this months, lets see if I get any mail/phone from Airtel.

But the FUP should be on data transfer, not only d/l right?
