Even when they make a good product everyone has to oversell it.

From what I see, they announced that their ebook software will finally be able to read pdf -- standard for eBooks -- and the audience applauded.

Who else thought that that comment on the iPad being magical cause it it got a girl interested in a guy was lame?
Seriously! That kind of tactic is more appropriate for deoderant ads!
"Buy the iPad, and chicks will dig ya!"
Of course using the iPad to get laid would probably be against Apple's terms
