Rapidshare problem

From some days I am facing a unknown problem abt rapidshare... when ever i try to open www.rapidshare.com .. the page shows "Oops! This link appears broken.DNS error occurred. Server cannot be found."

I rapidshare is down or there is something which is blocking this site

change your DNS to openDNS

better use google dns.works better than open dns

Open command prompt and run

ipconfig/flushdns
ipconfig/release
ipconfig/renew

..in that order. Also try using opendns as a user suggested above. It will probably work.

^i think you have a reliance conn. they've either blocked rs for now or facing some prob.

all you have to do is change your dns ips in the same place where your ip address is entered.depending on your method of internet access,google to find where you'll find this.

normally you should get it in network connections->properties->ipv4

ohh it was DNS error ... I changed the DNS and it worked ..but i wanted to know how Suddenly it happened , initially my DNS was configured on "automatically obtain DNS" now, for everytime if i have to visit rapidshare.com i have to change the dns and then only i can open the rapidshare... actually what happened ??
