Default Youtube - Thumbnail not seen

Off lately I notice that when I go to Youtube, I no longer see the thumbnail of the video clips. I only see blank rectangle with duration of clip written at one corner. Is this how it is or some settings messed up at my end??

it could be something to do with your internet browser settings or possibly your firewall or proxy settings that is preventing you from seeing them

Check if u are using the beta version of youTube... it uses HTML5 which is not supported in IE... try checking in Opera which renders HTML 5 Api
