An LED flashlight

well... yesterday mum asked me to look for a good flashlight. Last few LED torches (one branded and others off the local Chinese market) were not efficient enough... And the incandescent ones are really a mess.

Can someone suggest me a good one .. for around 500 bucks?

Another thought i was having of modifying a general torch to something good .. would serve the purpose of time utilization for summer vac.
I searched the internet and the only things I came across were HID converters ... bit too costly .. around 5 - 9 thousand rupees.

Your requirements are not clear enough buddy.
As of now you can get variety in chinese product, but don't expect durability.
If you require some high power LEDs (That may suit your keyword- flashlight) then it will cost more than 500 buks.

no no .. not Chinese...
I would like to go for something good ... and one time purchase ...

I think I will have to go and scan the market myself... internet won't help in this matter.
