Default Has BSNL upgraded 256kbps unlimited to 512 kbps?

Seems like they have. Today I noticed my 256kbps unlimited line automatically upgraded to 512kbps. Here is my report.

This is no official announcement yet, but others have noticed similar changes.

What's up guys?

It is a promotional offer by BSNL and will end on 30th April 2010

Competition is heating up and 1mbps should be the minimum speed now but we dont know about BSNL and their sarkaari way of working.

Yes.

Airtel also upgraded their speed to 1mbps for ul plans.. (i.e.1 mbps upto 8GB/4GM then ur speed is as per your old plan)

but i think, bsnl will continue this promotional offer without any time limit... (thanks to the information from my colleague's father worked in bsnl at Higher level)

wait and will see..
