Calling All Dog Owners, Thinking of adopting Labrador puppy

Hi all,
My friend has a Labrador which he says is a cross breed between a Labrador and great dane(not sure if that's correct, please check the pics and tell).she is about 6weeks old and full black in color. now, I am thinking of adopting the cute little puppyhyeah:

First I need know what I am getting into before taking final take. so please help, tell me everything about this breed. kind of information every dog owner should know.

i personally have a german shepherd.. and one thing that i would advice you is make sure that you train the dog well. if u dont have previous experience get a dog training book... cuz u have to train them when they are young. if u dont, they get very undisciplined.& also make sure that u give it all the required vaccinations.
& rest assured u are going to have a lot of fun with your dog.

I live in Bangalore, can anyone provide a reliable source(who's not expensive) from where I can buy a dog, and how much will a Labrador cost?

i dont really Like Dogs
but i think i can tell u iz Labrador Look damn ferious (atleast to me ) but they r damn good , friendly and heart warming(dont ask wat this means) dogs

you can consider adopting the indian pariah dog. a dog native to our country. it is well suited for our climatic condition and its puppies dont die easily, unlike other breed dogs, which you will have to take care. its a rough and tuff dog. it can eat trash and still survive.

They are also as smart and loyal as other breed dogs.

See what you have have basically a cross between Labrador and great dane so its vey unlikely that the dog is going to act exclusively act like labrador pup.
It fact what comes out will be there to know after a year or so.But yes since both the breeds (i.e lab and den) are loving and caring i think the Pup will be loving too.
And if you love it.Dont think! Take it.Theres is no love like dogs love because its so unconditional.
