Default Should I allow my ISP to install hub in my house?

I didn't know where to ask this question so I am asking this here.
My ISP has suggested that they can replace the hub from current position (almost 50 meters from my house) to my house. He said it will cut long distance short as currently the cable circles entire society before coming to hub to which my PC is connected. He said that it will come directly from building which is situated at back of my home and they will also charge 100 Rs less.
Should I allow them to place hub in my home? How much power it requires? Please help me.
Thanks.

100Rs per month is ok.The hub wouldnt need more than 50Rs of the power.Moreso there will be less hassles .
So go ahead. However remember it will intrude on your privacy everytime they need to fix something. Still if its not an issue you can go ahead,
