Default Need some advice from the seniors.

Well I am currently in 9th std. in an ICSE school in Rajkot, Gujarat. As you all know, ICSE students will now have access to only 0.76% seats . So I was thinking of changing my school. What do you guys suggest ? I aim to become a hardware engineer... and currently thinking to go in a CBSE school.. probably out of town. So, suggest me a nice place to go for education.

Correct me if I'm wrong.. but most ICSE schools do have ISC colleges too. (ISC is like HSC, only diff is that HSC is state govt. run while ISC is run by the same CISCE that runs ICSE schools)
I checked out the ISC syllabus too, and if you want to go into engineering, you'll have to concentrate more on entrance exams like AIEEE, IIT-JEE, BITSAT, etc. and the ISC syllabus is very up to date and the best there is for getting you prepared for engineering entrance exams. (but it's pretty vast too)

K. But you better have a chat with a counselor, or a teacher and give it a long hard thought before going forward
