I don't have a habit of creating threads daily/weekly, but can the admins please answer when will they rectify each & every problem?

My mother was sitting in my room and I was browsing the forum. I got onto a 'spam post' with an obscene foto in a thread mistakenly, and my mother saw it. How disgusting can that be?

Just give us a date when all the problems will be solved.

Edit: I know this is Chit-Chat section, but troll please keep away, else this thread will also end up getting locked.

We care for the forum and therefore we are repeatedly telling to fix it. Those who couldn't stay anymore have already left but our urge to stay here and our love for Digit is keeping us still here. But Admins should atleast care for us.

It's really very sad to see the forum go towards hell like that.

I don't care for the bugs, they are no problem but only the spam posts are. As the incident happened with ico may happen with any of us anytime.

Please admins give us a perfect date in which you will atleast fix the spam control. Please Please......

I don't know if they are blind or careless.

Being an Admin of a forum they should know things. Lets take that they don't have time to be full time dedicated on forum, but at least pay heed to what forum members say.

I've already posted info about how to catch SPAMS and how not even allow to register them, may be they already know it, but why the hell don't u implement it. That knowledge of urs USELESS!!!

I would normally refrain from clicking on any new thread that seems suspicious, but today, I was browsing the "Hindu Girl name" thread and ghosh... there was one spam post with an utterly ridiculous p**n image. I'd have got fired from my job if caught with such images on my screen!!!

It seems a hopeless situation. 3+ hours since this post and its still there. Is there a telephone number where I can call these Admins? Reporting posts does not seem to do much. Maybe I should start calling to remind them of their duties.

I had earlier dropped an email or something to the admins - just a simple rule. Any user post with less than 10 total posts in the forum has to be moderated - posts from such users should not be made live immediately. Should be moderated first. A simple process as this might save a lot of embarrassment.

Majority of such posts are by (maybe automatic or someone behind it) users with posts 0 or so. I mean first post -> spam -> done kinda thing.

I think if the admin do something to make it like the posts by new members (with post count less than 10 or so) need to be approved for that to appear in forum.

I think that will stop at least 90% of these spam posts.

I am a member in TE as well. TE is more serious kinda one. Age wise and seriousness in threads / posts. TDF is like forum for all. All age group, all types of discussion.

I'd suggest that members with less than post count of 20 not be allowed to post/attach pictures and links. That would at least mitigate the problem till the admins decide to haf captcha during registration.
