Help Needed In Buying From eBay US.

Hi Guys,

Actually 2-3 days back , I stumbled upon my old BlackBerry 7100g biting dust ... I had disposed it off because of a faulty trackwheel .... Now , I m curious to get it back to work by repairing it myself and so I looked for a spare trackwheel for it and was able to find one on eBay US ONLY ( none other ) .

Its cost is only $7.99 and another $1.99 for worldwide shipping through registered airmail. When I proceeded for checkout , it asked me for two options : Guest & Member ... I chose the former and it pointed to another page askin me for my contact details... But , In country selection drop down box , there were only two countries i.e US and Canada. Terrified at this I then chose the latter and in that there was the option of choosing India . My another main concern is that as its my first experience with eBay , its askin for every possible detail , I wud like to enquire whether its safe
to disclose personal details on eBay ... Also , is it safe to buy as lot of scam deals are also present ??

P.S ::: The seller is based in Hong Kong and has a reputation of 98.2 Percent..Will post a link of the product tomorrow coz posting it from my BlackBerry Curve ( absence of tabbed browsing ) .
