Cool Delhi people: please help


hello all,
its a silly request i will be posting here.
i will be landing in delhi for the first time alone by train....i will be staying at munirka...how do i get to munirka from delhi railway station i.e.auto (fare) ??? also how far is munirka from Aiims??

This old thread popped up in the index, marked as having one reply. But when I opened the thread, there's no reply. Probably someone replied without looking at the date, then realised that it's an old one and deleted his reply. When I refreshed the index, it's gone from the current list.

Anyway, it caught my attention because, although we have a nice cyber-community here in TDF, such requests seem to receive very few replies or none at all. This is a pity because a reply to this kind of request from local people would have been of real help to the OPs, much more so than with many technical threads.

Last year, when I was going to Mumbai escorting a patient, I thought it would be nice to meet or at least talk locally to other forum members. I started a thread but no one replied. I'm fairly familiar with Mumbai from several visits 10-15 years ago and didn't need any help, but the lack of response was disappointing all the same.
