but if u search these letters again, u will find that the results vary with a large margin..........
the second result i got for b is 134,020,000.......
is google cheating us???

By "famous", do you mean "common"? If so, e is the most common letter in English, but this is counting its usage as part of multi-letter words. You got the highest number of hits for "a" because Google counts only its usage as a standalone word.

I get a figure of 18,040,000,000 for "a". The slight difference with your first result is because the content of the web is constantly changing. Don't know why you got such a widely different result with your second search though.
