How to create Buttons!

I wanted to know how to make buttons for HTML page. I was recently using gimp 2.11 to make some n00b kind of buttons. But now i have upgraded to 2.6.4 and the Xnts option is missing. Please help me. Take a look at this page. I know that it is n00bish but i'm just a beginner.
