notebook pc

Can anyone help me to search a nice configuration of laptop, I need this for personal use. I know few of them like Dell, Accer, compaq but still need a good one.

Any other companies that provide options for customization except dell ???

Dell seems to be playing monopoly and not giving us the option to fully customize, like in case of the OS,u need to buy that Windows even if u choose to work with Linux. ANd they r adding some Online Storage which we don't need at all. Where to complain about this???
