My brother wants to buy a scientific calculator ...

1.Can anyone help me by telling the special things to be considered while buying it ?

2.Which is the best place to buy it ? whether online or from any shop ....

3. Which company ?

4. Is there any other calculator except this scientific calculator ?

5. Other details ...

If it is for engineering student, do check the if you can buy a calci which can store formulas. When I was in engineering, having calculators which would store formulas were not allowed.
Best would be to go with the herd and buy what others are buying.
This way, in case your bro breaks his calci or for some other reason he needs to share a calci with someone else, he would have no problems with the functionality.

Regards,
Mohit

I use the Orpat fx-5400M. I had been warned by people that there are lots of duplicates of CASIO in the market.

1. Check with your university/college as some of the models are banned.
2. Buy from a reputed shop. There are fake ones out there too.
3. CASIO CASIO CASIO. 991MS is the norm, 100Ms if your are tight on budget.
4. Whaaa!
5. Ask your classmates/seniors first before posting here.
