Its OK dude, if our jobs gets shifted to say, Bangladesh, we too will be pi$$ed! Moreover it is just the opinion of a few members from some forum. It doesn't necessarily reflect the world view.

its just another forum like TDF...

you might remember we had Krazzy here talking about how non-mumbaikars were getting into Mumbai and stealing jobs etc etc etc.... but that was his opinion... a lot of us didn't agree to that....

now what you have read is the opinion of the members of a particular forum...only difference being that there were a lot more Krazzy people over there while Krazzy was unique here

Hahaha what a joke! Indians are probably the most hated expat community in the UAE and you know it. One look on any UAE forum (DubaiForums, Expatforum, AlloExpat etc.) should confirm this.

WTF......did u ever go there......??? UAE has got a lot of ppl from other foreign countries...

and i have never seen an Indian being bullied by ppl of that country.....of course it also depends on how u behave with them......i have been working there for more than a year (my dad is doing his business for more than 30 years there.....we have never faced disrespectful behavior from any of them ....and i know they are really a bunch of friendly ppl....

Dude I've lived in the middle east (Iraq, Kuwait, UAE and KSA - in that order) for almost 15 years and certainly have much more than a brief idea about the place. You don't see the racism and discrimination out on the streets but scratch the surface and you'll see that it runs quite deep. It might not be apparent to you but having lived with Caucasians and Arabs in the past, I can say that with certainty.

well....i guess u got really much more experience there than me.....
i was only expressing my personal views abt those ppl.....that i never got to see any discriminating behavior from the arab community towards me or my family memebers......but i got really bad experiences with those pak guys over there....now i am not saying every ppl from pak are rude....but i guess most of them esp young generation.. hates us.....

Glad you haven't been at the receiving end so far and I hope it stays that way. Unfortunately the professional discrimination was a bit too much for me.

About the Pakis, we can't really do anything except continue to be nice. Who wants to start a fight in a neutral country?

UAE is not depending on oil resources anymore.......most of the income is made from real estate business...even george bush was amazed to see how they made a desert into such a beautiful country .........
