The 'reccommand me an album' thread
You can ask for album (musical ofcourse) reccos in this thread. Just ask for similar albums to one which you already like, for example :-
'Reccommand me an album similar to Carcass' Symphonies of Sickness'
Any genres/artists are allowed.

recommend me a good nu-metal album other than from bands like mudvayne,slipknot,disturbed,pod,lp,limp bizkit,papa roach,etc.
want a classic like LD50,10k fists or sublimal verses vol.3

Nu-Metal is kinda hard to recommand coz I dont listen to that genre. Used to be a great Slipknot fan but I lost their fandom to the likes of Children of Bodom and Cannibal Corpse. Anyways, try out Korn's album 'The Best of Korn'. And as Nu-Metal resembles Metalcore or Mallcore or whatever,so try out Bullet for My Valentine's 'Poison Digipak'.

I hate every metalcore or mallcore sh1t. I used to like BFMV but now they suck. Even Lamb of God sucks. They worse than BFMV  .

'Winds of Change' from Scorpions or
'Nothing else matters' from Metallica or
'Torn' from Natalie Imbruglia
or any other artists like 'Secret garden'

Recommend me some good metal/rock bands
i like bands like saxon, avenged seenfold,led zeppelin,poisonblack,lacuna coil,SOAD,IM,metallica..
heavy shreiking/gurgling vocals doesn't work for me, so death metal is out of question.

SOAD is on a hiatus AFAIK, so cant recommend anything there.
Mithotyn is nice,Also, if you can, just listen to Eluveitie (Swedish folk metal band with use of bagpipes, violins, hurdy-gurdys and flute along with electric guitar, of course, there is some amount of screaming, but that is totally melodic IMO)

You can try the likes of Within Temptation, Epica, Dream Theater, Exodus, Vio-lence, Kreator, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Slash's Snakepit, etc
