Help me customize my Dell Laptop !!!

Hello all,

I am planning to buy a laptop. 80% chances are that I will buy a Dell laptop just bcoz of their support although I know Dell laptops are costly.

I have attached the quotation. Please review it and let me know if I can have something better without much change in the cost.

Also do let me know about available deals from some other brands.

Are Dell laptop rates expected to increase or decrease in coming 1 month ?

I also have following queries:

1. What all Linux OS does it support?
2. Battery backup.
3. Does it have a glossy look. It is very difficult to make from Dell website. If any of you can upload some high resolution pics of 1525, it will be great.
4. Has anybody run XP on it?
5. Considering the market situation, Are Dell laptop prices expected to fall or rise in coming week or perhaps in coming month (India)?

Also do let me know other brands and their model numbers offering similar kind of configuration.
