The Offtopic discussion thread...

Hello guys.

Many times we see that in threads dedicated for some purpose, we tend to go offtopic. And many times its unavoidable. But we all do understand that it is injurious to Forum Carrier. So for all that unavoidable (but relatively insignificant) talk, I thought one thread could be created.

So start using it!

Once can continue the discssion from other threads here.

Therefore this thread is a safe place to discuss ontopic stuff(technology) in this offtopic forum(chit-chat)

It was surprising that no such thread existed before. And thanks to me TDF Members are entitles to enjoy the benefits of such a thread in our own Chit-Chat sub-forum..

Offtopic posts are called so because they are off the topic.
The topic of this thread is "offtopic discussion"
So if we post offtopic posts here they would no longer be off topic because they are on topic.
So it would be an ethical dilemma on whether to post or not.

now that this thread this there... i want to know something... don't know whether this post is going to be deleted or not!!... but who cares, as this is gonna be totally off-topic!!!.. well, i wanted to know whats the story with few of our beloved characters: praka123 (WTH was he banned, he was okay i guess), vaibavtek (though as most of the members, i have a feeling too that he is still there... there are a lot of parallels with someone!), shaalu_sharma (what was the story, really?) and JharuPochaBai (how did i miss the thread earlier!!)... and other name that i might have missed out!!

praka123 was a great trouble-shooter but sadly, a very debating one. He used to start flame wars everywhere (win vs linux vs mac). And used to use foul language despite of warnings. I really want him back

vaibhavtek was more like a spambot. Post count meant everything to him. He was the center of attention and other members used to make fun of him coz his grammer was really good
