my frd wants 2 b in IT bt not into development [programming], any suggestions ? his qualification is bcom ......

There is a hell lot of scopes in IT without [development]
Testing
Management
BPO[Technical]....etc

As u say he's BCom.........ask him to pursue MBA and he can enter whatever Company he wants.

If typically IT field and that too without any technical degree, ask him to take any Testing course and get a certificate on it.

I think other people can also provide better sol^n.

& where 2 search 4 that options ? coz many job sites messup things in categories ......

Testing,QA,and lot other options are available here...But those were extremely stressful jobs than development(A member of this forum already represents that in a thread and he even had nightmares related to the work he done)... Still he wants to be get off dev, then ask him to get into it..
And my advice is to do a Post graduate like M.B.A in Software Enterprise Management will lead him to top level job in Software companies as its specialised course....
So let him to do some research on this...
