You didn't mention you're degree/diploma.

You can do CCNA, CCNA Security, ITIL... After having few years of experience(4/5 yrs) you can go for CISSP/CISA.

^^ good suggestion given by coolsunny.

@OP,
The Network and Information Security has a nice scope in future.
You can go for some certification program and then be placed in big MNCs.

Brother., i'm an IT guy may be i can help you., 1st please mention your education., what are you pursuing presently - school/ UG /PG ?

- You have various streams in IT Sec. depends on your interest & how strong you build your technical skills.

- If you belongs to PCM then it's good for you.

- Don't go in a hurry for Licensing RedHat or Cisco or Microsoft., to build a proper job profile you have to build all your basic Fundamentals of N+(Networking) very strong.

Mention all your present education criteria & interest for better suggestions

paras.oriental,To enter into security you need to join a organization as system/network administrator you need to do CCNA and MCSE for that then after getting some experience like 2-3 yrs you can do courses in security as freshers are not given opportunity.
