Default Re: Scope of chemistry

If you want to go for research, you will either have to pursue PhD or do a JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) after your MSc. If you choose organic chemistry, you can have a good future and even industrial jobs related to pharmacy and biotechnology.

If you choose physical chemistry, you can go into chemical engineering field (i.e. you can choose PhD in Chemical Engineering). That should also fetch you a decent job.
