Default No to Softwares, anything else??


Currently am a 2nd yr Computer Science and Engineering student studying in a private engineering college...

I want to know if there is any other scope for a job other than in Softwares....
I mean in hardwares etc......


What studies can i do after completing my B.Tech??

And hardware related courses which has the scope to offer a good job??
if yes then from which institute??

For core hardware jobs I think u need to b 4m Electronics(ECE)

Well, you can try things like network administration, server operator, database administration, etc.

The computer hardware industry is not flourishing in India, and apart from the above three, you will have a hard time getting any hardware related jobs.

With your qualifications and skills, you're never far from software. Since you're less inclined to software, you can try areas such as networking or even get into areas such as telecommunication network implementation. If you are familiar with UNIX, you'll go a long way without having to dwell on it all through your work day.

If equipments and hardware is what interests you, try making a switch to either servers/storage or telecommunications.
