Just wait till usage reviews of N82 comes out. Maybe 2-3 weeks. It's a pretty new phone but looks rock solid and stylish. Let the users provide it's stability and performance reviews (not a one day usage review).

FOr 20k, instead of putting entire money on just phone, I would get

1) Phone for 15k
2) Premiums stereo bluetooth headset for 3k-4k
3) 2Gb/4Gb memory card (based on phone's limit)


My solution for you would be

1) N73 music edition for 15k
2) motorola bluetooth premium headphones for 3.5k
3) 2gig kingston card for 1.2k

IMHO, razr2 is lot better than W910i.

For 20k i'll suggest you go for SE K850i. N82 would've been preferable but it costs 24k and hence is out of your budget. If you can extend your budget then by all means N82 is what you should go for.

if u really wanna extract every drop of juice frm ur bucks then Samsung G600 is what u shud go for... just 17k rupees.
5mp cam, vga video, fm radio, tv-out etc etc. n awesome cam clarity.
w910i..naah..u dnt wanna flip n drop ur precious phone, rite? its just james bond like, all stye, less substance.
if u like touch screens then opt for the LG Viewty, gorgeous.

but N82 has Wifi and TV-out
K850 nothin

and N82 cam pictures are lot lot better than old K850i

but its design and looks are poor .. thats the main reason its price is less .. no color options .. its plain silver plate with no coatin ....

k850i having the worst 5 mega pixel camera in all 5 mega pixel camera phones and its video quality is also low
better to go with N82 or N95

guys .. using n82 for over two weeks now .. simply awesome phone .. go for it ..

and those concerned abt design and specially looks .. even i was worried abt it .. but found it not that bad when real handset is held in hand .. all people who has seen my n82...nobody termed it as a bad looker..

and that awesome xenon flash cannot be missed for anything .. even n95 lacks it ..

dude..i think u should go for the k850 neday..there are many bad reviews..and guess wwhat..all are from branded phones by voda or o2 or watever....
i have benn using it for a few dayz..and its the best phone i have ever used..i compared the pics with n95 and n82..and i mine had better details and color..y dont u go to the esato forum and chk out the cmparisons..u will kno very well...

and new foirmwares are out too..so all bugs killed

but seriously, its a killer phone with all the goodies onboard.. i will choose it over k850i anyday .. and yes . its does not have infrared ..if that matters to u..

yea..let me tell u a few places where k850 wins over the hyped n82..

1)WALKMAN 3 PLAYER-neone here having ne doubts as to which sounds better??
2)BETTER BATTERY BACKUP-my k850 lasts upto 3 days on a single charge on normal usage
3)CAM QUALITY-Well..i havnt tried the n82 but its pic quality is certainly way bttr than the n95 and botht eh n serie phns have a simalr module...
4)DESIGN-where n82 is quite a copy of the k550..k850 packs punch and is one of the most good looking phones around..

now its upto u to decide..if u wnned stuff such as wlan and gps..surely go fr the n82..else k850..

1. just use ep 630 or better with n82 .. sounds good to me ..i have used k750i modded to w800i ..it aint that much difference ..

2.although its better in battery department ..but n82 battery life is pretty sufficient

3.not sure abt cam quality.. i find it very good ..even xenon flash of n82 is stronger than k850i.. gsmarena finds n82 better camera wise

4.design is not good though ..but it does not look that bad in person ..

and n82 is not a hype surely ..

that's a comparision with n95 .. not with n82 ..although n82 shares the same camera hardware with n95 ..it proves nothing ..

wow..nice 2 knw..jus wanted to ask u about its keypad? is it friendly enough? comfortable?
and yea..do u miss the play/pause key as in W810i or any other walkman phone, bcuz its really handy when u wanna pause or play music anywhere anytime, even when u r in de thick of typing ur msg. u dont hafta go all de way back to the player n pause it and then return to find ur app lost...is it?

keypad is nice for typing. pretty comfortable i would say . only problem is the placement of the new multimedia key between cancel key and right selection key. it gets accidently pressed . not big worry though ..

yeah ..nokia should provide a music key ..depends on u if u will miss it or not ..i did not miss it when went from k750i to n73 to n82..but addition of such a key would be welcome anyday ..

N82 is a copy of K550i? What a joke! From which angle does N82 look like K550i? If you're talking about the slim keys then N91 had such keys long before K550i came. N82 is superior to K850i in every aspect. Period.

Those pictures don't prove anything. Only the keys are similar. I already said that Nokia has used the slim keys in N91. As for the navigation keys no key matches those on K550i. And in case you're forgetting a phone has a top, bottom, left, right and back side as well and you'll hardly find a similar looking part there. Plus the phones hardly resemble each in real life.

As for the "yeah right" comment, I can prove anytime that N82 is better than K850i. It has better display, stereo speakers, wi-fi, GPS, 3.5mm jack, higher camera camera with Carl Zeiss and brighter xenon flash, higher resolution and much better quality video recording, motion sensor that not just works in games and media player but can be used everywhere to change the display mode and camera image orientation. Plus being a smartphone the motion sensor can be used for a lot different purposes. The media player supports more formats, the headset has a remote control, web browsing is infinitely better on the S60 web browser, no limits for the phonebook contacts and messages, active standby mode and multimedia menu for instant access to favourite apps, automatic voice tag creation, support for bluetooth wireless keyboards and tv-out feature, uPnP for streaming music wirelessly, the list goes on. Do you still think K850i is better than N82?

are u blind by ne chance??the phones are very similar in watever way i look at it...the number kyes.the menu keys..all are a mere copy of the k550..

let me make it clear-the n82 has wifi,gps,3.5 mm jack(k850 has hpm-70),tv-out

most of these features are not used here and the decreases the already low batt life considerably..it lasts bout 1.5 hrs with wifi and gps on..

display-the k850 has supposedly crisper display than the n95..evn i found it better..and n82 is inferior to the n95

camera-peaple call round the world have been taking wonderful pics with this phn..carl zeiss lens is manufactured by son and is nw being used by nokia..just coz the k850 doesnt have a "named" lens u cant term the mother of cam lenses to be crappy..lol..grow up man

flash-k850 has a range of 2.5mtrs while n82 has of 2.8

video recording -n82 beats k850 black and blue..but..lacks an led flash..crap..

motio sensor-the k850 uses its mtion sensor to charge it thmes whch repond to the sensor and move accordingly...beat tht..the hskae feature is nw available fr the k850 too...the n82 has an overtly sensitive sensor and cant be turned off either...

chekc out sum sites or go to esato to chk the new applications such as compass,gravity measurte,altitude and others tht have been devoloped fr the k850..and it rocks the media player...ne game fr n82 yet??

well-there are many formats tht the k850 supports but has nt been listed such as m4a and rm..i have tested them out..

headset???u compare a nokia crap to an SE..i guess u kno better..

web browsing-nokia guys have started switching to opera mini.light on the system and heavy on the work

1. Of course i'm not blind. Only the keys look similar. There are a lot more differences than similarities. And I don't think Nokia is in such a bad state that they have started copying SE's designs.

2. Who says people don't use all those features. Except for 3G all other features can be used in India and many do. Just because you won't doesn't mean others won't as well. As for the battery N82 doesn't have any battery problems. And features of GPS and wi-fi obviously use more battery. But due to current limitations of battery technology there is no way to remedy this. And it depends upon usage.

3. Of course the K850i display is more crisp. If you cram all those pixels in such a small space the picture will look more crisp. Don't justify SE's idiotic decision of making small displays as an advantage. QVGA displays look great even at 2.8" and N95 8gb proves that. I'd any day prefer a larger display over a smaller one. And most people think so, including all the mobile review sites.

4. Get your facts straight. N82's camera is better than that of N95. It has more features too and is faster as well. And Sony does not manufacturer Carl Zeiss. And I never said SE's lenses are crappy.

5. K850i motion sensor charges the themes? Wtf is that supposed to mean. Anyway as for the lack of app for N82 is because its still new and K850i came much before it.

6. Yeah even i know that newer SE phones support m4a and rm, my W710i does too. But the rm files don't play in the Walkman player and can only be opened from the file manager. Also files with .aac extensions just don't work even though they're claimed to, while even my friends 3110c can play them. Plus in N82 you can extend the format support with apps and then you can even play ogg and divx.

7. I didn't compare the headset quality. I just said N82 comes with a remote in the headset which K850i and even many Walkman phones lack.

8. Don't bother to reply back. K850i has lost fair and square. You're just to sour a loser to admit it. Also please use your fingers to type. I typed this post on a phone still it has lesser typos and more words that make sense.
