If u love the looks and need a mobile that looks good then the 6300 is for u. If you need an avg looking & feature packed fone then go for the 6233.

I am also planning to buy this phone. Just wanna know, can I install JAVA softwares in memory card of 6233??? Its internal memory is too low for some applications...and I have many things to load in it if I buy this phone...Can I save/view text files (large one--250 files in a year of 50K each which totals 12MB) to/from its memory card(very important for me)??? Are there any Excel, Word and PDF file viewers available for this phone???

Ya, I really need a business phone which has the capability of viewing Excel or large text files >=50K in size (5 files every week). Multimedia (FM+MP3) is not that necessary but I want them too. My work involves too much note taking and organiser features (calendar, reminders etc.). So the phone must have these features. According to gsmarena, there is no FM in E50 and the battery (Li-Ion 970 mAh) is also less powerful than 6233 (Li-Po 1100 mAh)(is it so?). I really need a long battery life. It will be really helpful for me if you write a small review of E50...

Thankyou.

Display of 5300 is bad. I don't like the design either. The cam is not upto the mark. Only good thing is it plays music good.

But I still prefer 6233. Its a good phone. Looks good, feels good and good features also.

@ subrata the battery of e50 (bl-5c) is a little less powerful than that of 6233(bl-6c) but u can use bl-6c also in e50 without any probs...

I used a Nokia 6300 today, & compared it to my K750i. It kicks the ass of K750i screen, but thats it. (cos it is not Symbian Serias 60 phone). It has no flash so don't expect nice pics even from the 2 MP Camera in dark, on the other hand, it was quite good for listening to music & pics were solid in day light (outside) cos of ample ammount of light. The mp4 videos I played at 320X240 Pixel resolution with 24fps & 196 kbps bitrate for video & 64 kbps AAC for audio played superb fine on it screen.

The only thing I m drooling on this phone is the 16bit colour based screen at 320X240 pixel resolution & it's slim body. It would have been the perfect phone if it has the same OS of Nokia E50 with a Flash for camera & 3.5 mm headphone jack insted of 2.5 mm

Nokia never designed a complete package at a reasonable price...

Many mobile reviewing sites are saying (user comments) that the font size of this phone is too small to read. you need a magnifying glass to read the text. Is it so??? As i've said earlier, I will use the phone basically for read/write text/office files. So the small font size will be a BIG problem for me. Also...

1) Is there any zoom facility for text/pdf/office files?
2) Can I install something which can be used to edit office files?
3) How about the preinstalled office apps. Is it full version or trial?

Please comment...

A total disappointment! I have used this phone for 2 weeks. This phone fails to live up to its intended purspose as a business phone. As a businessman who uses messaging, this phone is useless. THE FONTS ARE SO TINY. My customers send me SMS all the time and I find it difficult to read the messages in my inbox. Is Nokia thinking E50 users should use a magnifying glass to read the inbox entries? That's what will happen to you if you buy this phone. Also, the phone sometimes have intermittent problems having garbled voice signal (much like chipmunks) and you might think your callers are making fun of you. No, it is the phone behaving weirdly. I had to reset the phones several times to have normal voice signal back again. I RETURN THIS PHONE AND BUY A RELIABLE BRAND, BUT NOT NOKIA.

I've seen the fonts. They're quiet OK. Never felt the need of a magnifying glass.

@subrata
1. Yep
2. Yep 4 doc
3. Yep full version.. Office is built in in its firmware..
And even i had read reviews that the fonts are small.. But they are big enough.. And the font size in apps are as bigs as other cells
