Thumbs down gprs problem on pocket pc

i bought a dopod d600 runnin on wm5....
ddnt have a major budget so settled for this without wifi...
i thot i'd rather have the slow-mo gprs... but then i hit a wall there....
hutch has activated gprs on all numbers, and the auto-config on my ppc's connection settings reads those settings as well, but then, it refuses to connect...
and the damned hutch customer care sez that hutch gprs aint available for my handset.... and now im stuck, so if theres any tweakin i could do to get gprs runnin on my fone, i'd be thankful....
help? anyone?

So do you want the settings for hutch gprs so that you can enter them manually? In that case enter the following
Connection name: HUTCH_GPRS
Data bearer:
GPRS
Access Point Name:
portalnmms
IP Address:
10.10.1.100
Connection Security:
Off
Authentication:
Normal
Leave the other settings blank/unchanged. Hope this helps.

i hooked up an internet connection via bluetooth, but thats lame cuz if im online on my ppc via bt, im in or around my house, which means i might as well stay on the pc... ugh...
and @krazyfrog, i tried what i could frm the settings, it connected, but nuthns happenin... ppc settings are really diff, but those losers at the customer care just refused outright... ughh... theres gotta be sumthn...
