256 hynix DDR RAM.80 GB Samsung hard disk.I have installed windows XP Version 5.1.2600 Service pack2 operating system. I have recently bought Nokia 6600.I have installed complete Nokia PC suite for 6600. I have also bluesoleil Bluetooth port.I am able to send and reciveve data to and fro from my computer and phone & vice versa throuh blootooth port. My problem is that inspite of having active bluetooth connection I am not able to connect to nokia Pc Suite. whenever i click on Icon of connection manager in ' bluetooth connecton' in right bottomside of desktop Icon and click on bluetooth. it gives message"Media type is not supported.Check your system for media setting". I have tried by connecting bluetooth port to all 6 USB ports available on my PC.I have also tried all options mentioned in the troubleshooting section of "Help " menue in Nokia PC Suite software. But still it is not interfacing with PC suite. I have then installed same software on my friends PC having Intel HT technology and windows Xp installed on it to just check it whether something wrong in my PC's settings.still it does not work. Somebody has any answer...? |

I have installed Nokia PC suite (Version 6.81 release 13)on my PC. which is latest till date.
.now while clicking on 'bluetooth' in 'select connection type'and clicking on 'next' I get connected and it shows my name i.e."Mahesh"in 'detected Device'of PC suite. It shows that I got connected to PC suite. but After that when I select my name and click on Next,I get message "Can not authenticate the phone" There is no problem with my phones authentication as I have paired it suscessfully with computer and I am able to transfering file to and fro from mobile phones memory card and computer via bluetooth connection without PC suite. Nokia PC suite Dialog box appears and gives message "can not authinticate the phone." and whole thing stops there only. I tried to configure it from "manage connections" dialogue box of PC suites main window. I tried same thing on my friends PC also but was in vain.it gives the same message... I am using ISSC corporation's 'Bluesoleiol' bluetooth port.Version:1.6.1.4 which is shown as authenticated on Nokia website. Also, I have installed PC suite in same drive where bluetoothport drivers and operating system is installed. what else shall I do to get the work done? -Mahesh Quote:
