mobile under 10K, the samsung x700 issue immediate

well, I want to buy a mobile around 10K over the weekend.
I found samsung x700 (Rs 9200), and nokia 6670 (rs 9600).
also I have my heart on w700i,

the problem is that nokia doesn't have features that can match x700.
however, I have heared that samsung phones are untrustworthy, and they fail quickly.Is this true?

also, are there any good phones below 10k ?

also, here are my requirements:
I am a programmer, so I might go into programming things on the mobile.
I have a 1.5 hr journey to clg, and need something to entertain/keep me busy, like mp3 or games.

try the 6630 or 7610 ...they r better than the 6670......
or if u get a deal take a 6680...

you may try 6630(good speed but no FM), 3230(remember its damn slow but it has FM ). they have more features than 6670.
6630 is around 11.2k, and 3230 is around 9.4k, 6131 is 12k, 6125= 10.5k

Smasung X700 is also a good set, and my friends who uses Samsung has no problem with it, but it's not SYMBIAN.

And for SE , try K750i........All features of x700, with a 2MP cam......

Don't buy SamSung phones!! Nokia phones have better finish & also good audio
clarity. There are some Java-enabled phones. You can try that. Java phones come
with some cool Games.

What type of programming you looking forward to? If it's java programming, then any of these phones can help you. If you want to go into symbian programming then you can test it only on symbain phones. BTW, there are symbian emulators available so you can use those instead of buying a symbian phone just in case.

Once upon a time i bought samsung x600,, that was the biggest mistake of my life... it took me 4months to find out how to install games on it (that time there was no wap).. i reqd xxxx javauploader to do that...
ya a good thing abt samsung is that it features the best lcd's...

regardin features every smartphone has same features (excludin fm and others related to hardware).. if some feature is lackin, then it can be added via 3rd party softwares...

W series by SE is for u, if u want a quality phone with good sound...

nokia has java sdks available for the symbain platform......
+ u can do txt,html,php,wml n other editing only on symbian fones.....
+ in symbian fones u can also get a ansi/unicode/hex editor

If you are looking for Symbian phone get Nokia 6630. It should be around 11K and it is a very good phone, only thing it lacks is FM.
